Day by day
- 1Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli
Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive beneath Kilimanjaro. Watch elephants move through the marshes and take in your first sunset.
- 2Day 2
Amboseli
A full day in the park. Morning and afternoon game drives, with a stop at Observation Hill for the view across the swamps. Look out for buffalo, giraffe and a wide range of birdlife. Dinner at the lodge.
- 3Day 3
Amboseli to Tsavo West
After breakfast, transfer to Tsavo West National Park. Visit Mzima Springs, known for hippos and clear water, and the Shetani lava flows. Settle into your lodge with the evening at leisure.
- 4Day 4
Tsavo West to Tsavo East
Morning game drive in Tsavo West, then continue to Tsavo East. The landscape opens into savannah, home to the red elephants. Afternoon game drive and overnight in Tsavo East.
- 5Day 5
Tsavo East
A full day in Tsavo East, with morning and afternoon game drives along the Galana River and a visit to Lugard Falls. Overnight at your lodge.
- 6Day 6
Return
Morning game drive, then depart for Nairobi. Clients continuing to the coast can be transferred to Voi or Mombasa instead.
